Resource Recovery Center for Mixed “Demolition + Renovation” Waste

This configuration is primarily designed for mixed construction waste generated by urban renewal projects (including concrete blocks, bricks, tiles, rebar, wood, plastic, textiles, etc.). The goal is to produce high-purity recycled aggregates and recyclables through efficient sorting.

Site Layout and Process Highlights

Unlike traditional mining crushing lines, modern construction waste sorting sites feature the following typical characteristics:

Combining “sorting before crushing” with “multi-stage sorting”
Upon arrival, materials do not enter the crusher directly but first pass through a bar screen (or heavy-duty vibrating screen) for pre-screening. This separates soil and small particles, while large-sized materials proceed to manual/mechanical sorting platforms to remove oversized debris, effectively protecting the main crushing unit.
Removal of Light Materials Is Key
The system is equipped with air separation systems (positive/negative pressure) and flotation/optical sorting equipment specifically designed to remove lightweight contaminants such as plastic, wood chips, and paper, ensuring the purity of recycled aggregates meets standards for brick manufacturing or commercial concrete.
Fully Enclosed Operation and Environmental Compliance
The entire line is equipped with pulse baghouse dust collectors, dry fog dust suppression systems, and soundproof enclosures, resulting in minimal dust emissions on-site and full compliance with environmental inspection requirements.
